Future of Games.

 

CubeBrick has had games, from it's planning stage to now, but it's not the type of games you think. Our Games were made in Scratch, a code block programming site, Since we couldn't code games as well as we thought.

2023 is planned to be different, we plan to use HTML and Javascript to code our games, they will be posted in the development section when completed, this would be the first time however, since a game developer has done it before back in 2022. 

What will happen to Scratch Games?

The Old Scratch Games (V1 and V2) 

will be brought back, there will be 2 sections, Scratch Games and HTML Games. Users can still submit scratch games using the developer section, same way as the old scratchbrick and cubebrick worked.

We will update the template file for scratch so you don't have to manually change it yourself. This just adds a chat and the ability of bots, this also adds a background and a baseplate for you to walk on. 

The Baseplate will have 5 types, Grass, Concrete, Rock, Dirt, and Steel.

Note: They Won't Look too realistic

HTML games should come along too as well, look almost the same, but different programming.

Workbench

The CubeBrick Editor or the Workbench, is what the developer section is called, it also can help you make games. You can use the workbench to put your HTML code and see how it looks like, you can save it too, onsite. Thank Happy Hunter for the workbench prototype, you can also use Visual Studio Code to edit the HTML files.
